I don't remember where I heard about this - it might have been mentioned somewhere in these forum... I think this is worth checking out. Especially if you struggle with processing your vocals (and BGVs). Similar to Nectar (being "all in one"), but simpler to use. VERY intuitive. The demo is easy to download and easy to install (and surprisingly small). Just give an email, no account required. It will drop to silence for 5 seconds once every minute - then keeps going. So, easy to find out if it would be something you would want to buy. A nice variety of presets. I think this is worth checking out. Yep, it is! Thank you, Floyd! I rarely use 3-party plugins, but this one lets you get things done fast. The only problem I see is that you can only have one SFX per instance, not several combined. But it wouldn't be the first time I've used a plugin twice on a track

Interesting. So often when I watch the videos of the types of plugin I faind the "after" worse than the "before".
I found that a bit with the first video, but the second was definitely a significant improvement and finally makes me think about getting such a package.
I've long wondered if many are just used too harshly to get that modern, in-your-face vocal presentation, at the expense of all the, to me nasty, artifact of compression and ducking and the like. This video persuades me that maybe there actually is a benefit.
Maybe that's just me but...
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.

The first video does a nice job of explaining what the plug-in is and how to use it.
The second video is an AWESOME one hour video about one approach to mixing a song start to finish. The video has a lot of good mixing tips no matter what genre of music is being mixed.

Nice!.... But, I use a separate vocal mixing board for the vocals only and have a different VSTs (Nectar, Nectar 2--a BEAST), Mic Room, Neoveb and about 10 or 11 others on separate channels that I mix and match at will. My rule is simple y'all: Why use 1 when you can use 20???

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
