Hi all, A baby is born. His mother's name is "Samba" and his father's name is "Gypsy Jazz". For this event, they organized a big party. Even cousin “Tres” came specially from Cuba... Christian Braut (Monsieur Gontrand) is the singer. https://soundcloud.com/christian-devienne/gypsy-samba-avec-monsieur-gontrandRD SambaBrazilAlex^1 RT 1445 Acoustic Bass RT 3238 Nylon Guitar RT 1449 Acoustic Guitar RT 1451 Solo Acoustic Guitar RT 2109 Tres RT 1446 Fiddle RT 1645 Acoustic Solo Guitar

Hi Chris ...
What a nice, relaxing song! Christian's breathy, whisper-like vocal treatment is so easy on the ears.
I've always loved all genres of Latin music. This is a fine example of it at its best. Very, very nice.
Alan

Chris, this is your best to date IMHO. The instrumentation and vocals fit the groove perfectly. Excellent mix.
I went line dancing last night. Well it was a roadside sobriety test, same thing.

If Google Translate is reliable, then I'd say I really enjoyed the lyrics as well.
Listen to this mixed music Which the beautiful Samba gives birth to The father shouts: ʺ By Toutatis! ʺ It’s the voice of Gypsy Jazz. Gypsy Samba is the name Of this baby full of joy Strings and percussion Are in turmoil There is even cousin Tres Who came from Cuba Share your joy Gypsy Samba
The family is complete When the song is in full swing You have to let yourself go To the rhythm of the musicians Tomorrow is another day Let's savor the present moment This piece is worth the detour It's exhilarating Music is without borders There is no debate She crosses all barriers Gypsy Samba

Really nicely done tune! Just the way Christian pronounces "frontières" is totally worth the listen, but the whole song works great. Great job getting the soloists to sit in the mix and sounding like they were playing your song. That's sometimes tricky. Inspired theme and lyrics, too. Hard to get English to sound as cool as this. Ha!

Chris,
Well done—Christian Braut does an excellent job on the vocal, complimenting the fine mix you’ve created. Good stuff!
Kindest regards,
Deej
