Those that may have "techno geek" leanings (like me) might appreciate this. It's the intersection of music, entertainment, avionics and history. I worked on similar (non-music) avionic boxes, so for me this is good stuff  The In-Flight Audio Player

Quite interesting. Obviously a huge effort went into the design, and coupled with poor quality headphones, no wonder the sound was usually pretty average.
In only a few short years all of this became totally solid state.

Yeah. I liked how the Matsushita company (now Panasonic) solved the problem of having no dead time while the tapes were rewinding; a lot of good engineering went into that avionics box. And I thought that guy explained it all quite well.
In addition to music, entertainment, avionics and history we can also add Japanese design capability.

Yes, it was really well explained, and he went into a lot of detail, especially extracting all of the audio into his DAW.
That guy sure has a lot of good toys too. I'll have to watch a few more from his channel.
