Thank you very much, Dave. And yes, it's a bit different than the typical western music we usually hear. But I'm glad you liked it nonetheless.

Hmmm, in a Blues song - I might take that as a challenge one of these days. That might create a few cracks in Stevie Ray's headstone!

Take care!

Alan

Hi Al
This is a song experience in a class of its own
Outstanding melody
And the Asian mood perfectly captured
My brother's wife is Chinese and she really liked it too
There can't really be any more praise
Fantastic work Al
Many greetings

Hi Andi,

I always appreciate it when drop in for a listen and leave some comments.

Those a re very nice comments - thank you so much. And that fact that your Chinese sister-in-law liked it is very special. I guess that validates the authenticity of my arrangement - a very nice feeling.

Again, thank you very much.

Alan

A fabulous example of those new RTs in use Al. Very nicely done...shades of Madam Butterfly in the wistful passages.

Cheers

Hi Rah,

Thanks for the listen and very kind comments! Madam Butterfly - that was a few years ago! I doubt there will ever be another movie/play about a Japanese Samurai (his daughter, actually) with heavy Italian influences.

That was quite a compliment - thank you! I always appreciate your feedback and visits.

As I think you know, I do a lot of exploration in the dark halls of BIAB and sometimes find something that inspires me. I'm kind of a "no holds barred" guy when it comes to music creation.

Here's hoping your 2024 is the best year ever.

Alan

Sounds like something I usually hear when I'm at my favorite Chinese restaurant.
Sounds authentic to me.
I'm hungry now...

Thanks, B.D. Good to hear it sounds authentic. That's what i was hoping for.

I personally don't care for Asian food - Chinese, Japanese, etc. But almost anything you can put jalapenos on is usually a winner with me. Me gusta mucho!

Thanks for the visit and nice comments. Hope you, your father, and the rest of your family are doing OK.

Simply beautiful.

It’s perfect for the scenario you described ... Janice said she could see the serene spot perfectly!

Your journey continues and we continue to admire the results of your willingness to explore new musical vistas.

Enjoyed it!

Alan, man this really shows off your versatility. I don't often hear this kind of music, but this really sounds good. Very serene.

Hi Al,

I am a bit late, but I am trying to catch up with a lot of songs made by you and others on the forum, Al.
Although I'm not a real fan of Eastern music, you know how to capture their music in a very nice way!
I am sure I can't do that.
I think I told you that in my post to your first song, although, as I recall, that one has some more Western toughes in it.

Well done, Al
