Hi Mario,

I think Torrey said a lot of what i was thinking. I really like the mix of instruments. And those percussions are fantastic! And as Torrey mentioned, your creativity is innovative and pleasureable.

Enjoyed it a lot!!!

Take care,

Alan

Mario, nice composition, and very skillful controller use (as usual) on both of your leads! Does sound like you're having fun. Really love the chimes floating under it all. That's a really cool technique I've not tried before. Thanks for posting!

Clever use of that wind controller, Mario.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Thanx Alan. The percussion is the BiaB drum track. All I did was to pick the drum kit.

Thanx Ron. With MIDI your world is wide open for sounds. I like picking different sounds for BiaB tracks.

Thanx Bob. Those Swam saxes and trumpets are the best sounding instrument emulations that I have found.

Really interesting instrumental. Gorgeously atmospheric and feels like a movie soundtrack. I love the Flute Barocco, plus it's good to hear something played at 75 tempo.

Thanx Elliott. Those Swam saxes and trumpets are the most realistic emulations that I have heard. I really like them.

Thanx David. Those clanking percussion sounds are just cymbals from a Steven Slate's SSD 5.5 drum kit.

Oh my word - THE most relaxing piece of music I've listened to, in ages. The flute entry moment was just exquisite. Exactly what I needed, tonight. You really "deliver the goods", every time, Mario - and, of course, this kind of thing is never as easy and as effortless as you make it sound. Bravo.

Thanx Floyd. Like I have said those Swam instruments are so realistic it is scary. Plus I am finding I can add a lot more of me into my sounds via the combination of my keyboard and breath controllers. I'm glad you liked it.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
