Mean Baby BluesHi Folks, Here is a little ditty I wrote recently in the Jump Blues style made popular in the 1940's by artists such as Louis Jordan, Roy Brown, Amos Milburn, Lionel Hampton, T-Bone Walker, Wynonie Harris & Louis Prima. Nigel, nice write in the Jump Blues style and great vocals, as usual! You've got your band dialed in nicely, too. Always look forward to a new song from you, knowing it will put a smile on my face and set my toes tapping. This one did not disappoint!

Brilliant song and it captures the era perfectly. Really well done on the BiaB samples, arrangement and mix.

I always smile when I see a new one from you.
Love the Swing Shuffle Blues! And this is a great example of it. Loved the key modulation - they always seem to refresh a song bring new energy to it.
You have the perfect voice for these old standards (yes, I realize this is a new write, but it captures that era so perfectly). As usual, excellent entertainment. Loved it!
