Original tune - I played everything this time (hope that's ok), only a beginner at drum programming so kept it in the background: https://carlmogensen.bandcamp.com/track/quiet-nights-inCarl

I love this man, definately chilled. I hear a Peter White influence. How did you produce the strings? Great job.

Wow beautiful relaxing music. Sounds like a pro level recording, mixed perfectly. Your guitar has a smooth touch, and style.

Thanks a lot Bass Thumper - the strings are just a preset in Omnisphere (Cathedral Strings?), I entered little volume envelope ups & downs so the strings were a bit varied! Chuffed you liked it, thanks for listening!!
Best, Carl

Carl, this is really great. Sweet guitar tone. As usual super chops. great mix. As far as drum programming you might want to start in BiaB using a MIDI drum track. You can then modify it to your liking. Been there - do that all the time.
I just posted a selfie and all of the responses were get well soon!

Hi, Carl. I saw it was over six minutes long, pushed play, and... what was a pleasant surprise! That was a lovely bit of music.

HI Carl,
Your music is always a true pleasure to hear. Love this soft chill arrangement. And the varying sounds of your guitar was an unexpected but very nice treat. A smooth and dreamy ambiance all the way through. The strings and piano are real nice, too.
Thaks for a most satisfying listen. Wishing you the very best,
Alan

Carl, great song, expertly played as always. Love your tone and tasteful playing throughout. Super arrangement and mix, too. Also pleased to add "chuffed" to my vocabulary; always a bonus to start the day with that. Enjoyed your song a lot!

Carl,
A lovely, delicate touch on the guitar. It sings. Your backing tracks are just right. Supporting your guitar/melody, never over-done. Nice Bass, too.
Very well done. Good listening.

It sounds exactly right for a quiet night in. Gentle and relaxing. I like the switch from acoustic to electric guitar, then back again followed by the strings. A very nice arrangement..

Thank you WaoBand for taking a listen - very glad you liked the mood and arrangement, may you have 'quiet nights in' !! Slowing down with age, so gently & relaxing is my go to mood nowadays!
Cheers from East Anglia, Carl

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
