I'm getting an error in my Mac BIAB whenever I click the Lead Sheet icon (see attached). It's telling me that I need to update the BIAB software, but when I click the "Check Updates" in BIAB it says that it's already fully updated. After I click "Ok" the BIAB software shuts down and exits. Thoughts? Would really appreciate any inputs - thank you!
You will receive more views and thus have a much better chance at receiving advice by posting your question in the +++ Band-in-a-Box for Mac +++ forum section. This forum section is mostly used by PG Music to post responses to frequently asked sales and support questions.
When reporting your issue it is extremely helpful to provide (1) what version of Mac operating system your computer uses, (2) the type of Mac computer you have (Mac mini with Intel for example) and (3) the Band-in-a-Box build number (for example Band-in-a-Box 2023 Build 707).
You may want to verify you have the most recent version of Band-in-a-Box for Mac on your computer. You can do that +++ HERE +++
We have no idea what version of BIAB nor year you have. We also need to know your macOS — I am presuming Sonoma or Sequoia from the error message.
If you look at Jim’s and my signatures, you’ll see that we list our BIAB and OS versions. To add this info, click on your name in the upper right of the screen and Edit Profile.
I agree that this should be posted in the Macintosh thread. I almost never check here—in fact, I clicked onto this accidentally.
