Dear All,
I am looking for way to create backing tracks with a lyrics display as used for Karaoke. Band in a Box seems to be the natural goto tool as I can create my backing tracks including Lyrics within Band in a Box. And can use this on my PC to sing along while the big lyrics window shows the lyrics.
But is there a way to get music and synchronised lyrics out of "the Box" (out of the PC and on a mobile device, maybe even out of Band in a Box as video)?
I have seen there is a Band in a Box Android App, but google play says it is not avaialble for any of my devices. And users claim it does not show lyrics.
Any advice is welcome.

If you're looking for a way that makes this "just happen", I don't know of one. Any AV app that can record your screen and digital audio (bypassing the microphone) at the same time will do this. Wondershare Filmora is very good and not expensive. Some apps can export to Android but I don't know which ones.

If you open the BiaB files in the (included) sister program Realband, you can then Save As a Karaoke file .. that might help with finding an app to use ...

Thank you. The thought has crossed my mind, but the first try with an AV Programm that does such screen capture did not work. I will try others then.

Thank you. Yes, realband can give me a karaoke file, not sure about how to use that in another (and if so - which) programm. But I will check out-

I really was looking for a way that makes it "just happen". But found none.
For those locking for a a Way to achive that goal: I found a way to do it. A bit cumbersome, but doable. If build the tracks within Studio One and populate the lyrics track accordingly. Then I move this to a "show" in Studio One and Capture the screen of the running show to get my video. I do not get sound from the capture tool. So I feed the music into a Video software and add the sound there. When things are proper aligned I have my Karaoke backing track with moving lyrics to go on a mobile device.

Hi rharv.
My goal is a bit like "Make your Karaoke Video your own!"
I could do with just the music without the singer. But - I need support with the lyrics because I cannot remember any Line or Verse and its correct position on the "Grid" for any song.
That could be solved by working on Memory, but would take ages.
So I need a video that gives me such support.
Those available do not cover the song list I would like to have and use different methods to display lyrics and how to indicate when to sing.
This is why I need to do some by myself and why I redo those pre-made to get a consistent display method.
My solution enables me do achive this, even it is a bit more cumbersome.
But the karaoke file format (from pre-made .kar files) often is a good starting point in the process.

I do not get sound from the capture tool. So I feed the music into a Video software and add the sound there. Certainly one way to do it. The reason that I recommended Wondershare Filmora is that it will capture both simultaneously — even the free version.

Thank you Mike for your recommendation.
Meanwhile I have solved the issue of not capturing sound.
My software does that, but not with my external audio interface as output.
I need to go via my onboard sound selected as output!
Now everything works fine
