December is rolling around, and it will soon be time to decide whether to upgrade or not. I tend to upgrade every three years or so.
I hope I'm articulating my question clearly. How does upgrading work regarding styles? Let's say I upgraded from a base installation in 2015 in 2018, 2021 and 2024. Will a clean install still give me the styles that I had in 2015, or do I have to somehow import styles from past years?

You will generally install over the top of your existing installation. All of your existing styles will remain, some may be updated if later patches are available, and new ones will be added. There shouldn't be any issues.
If necessary, you can also download everything you've purchased again by logging in to your account at PG Music, and you can use the BIAB Install Manager, which handles everything for you.

Let's say I upgraded from a base installation in 2015 in 2018, 2021 and 2024. Will a clean install still give me the styles that I had in 2015, or do I have to somehow import styles from past years? It depends on what kind of upgrade you purchase. If you purchase a complete UltraPak or UltraPak+, the styles that you presently have will be included in the purchase. What I suggest is to ask a PG Music staff member this question when December rolls around and you have an idea in mind as to what you'd like to purchase. PG Music staff can be contacted directly via an internet chat with the blue circle icon that is on the lower right corner of this webpage. Like Audiotrck (above), I always install my updates directly over my existing version of BIAB. This guarantees keeping everything I have intact. I hope this helps. --Noel
