When I attempt to generate a midi supertrack in RealBand 2025, I get error message 1 (attached), followed by error message 2 (attached). The track generates OK but why these error messages? Mike
The answer is in the error log generated when the crash happened.
Since the crash happened while attempting to use a MIDI SuperTrack my guess is the link between the MIDI track and the Plogue Sforzando patch player is broken.
You may want to run the Plogue Sforzando installer again. You can run the full Band-in-a-Box and RealBand installer, select Custom install and then un check all the check boxes except for the Plogue Sforzando check box.
Thanks Jim. When I go to the My Products page (at PG Music) and select "Band-in-a-Box and RealBand 2025 Full (build 1124) (Windows)" it starts to download 1.9gb without giving me the option to select "Plogue Sforzando". Do I let it download the 1.9gb first to get to the Plogue Sforzando check box? Mike PS: I originally installed the entire BIAB 2025 to my C drive from the PG website. There is a file called "hiq_instruments_fl_sforzando.exe" at C:\BBDownloads.
Have the Download Manager install the file called "hiq_instruments_fl_sforzando.exe". That is my mistake that I didn't realize the file is a separate download.
Forget about downloading and installing the Band-in-a-Box and RealBand full build. That is not needed since you have the sforzando file.
I apologize for my error.
Also the crash log is available at X:\\bb\Data\Logs (where X = the drive where Band-in-a-Box is installed). The crash log is labeled "BBWERROR.LOG". It is a text file so you can double click on and the file will open in Notepad or whatever utility program you use for text files.
Open the log file, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+A to select all the text and Ctrl+C to copy all the text.
Come back to this thread, open a new post and use Ctrl+V to paste the copied text into the post.
That will help us help you figure out what is going on.
Mistake # 2! I didn't realize we are in the RealBand forum section. I apologize once more. I have no idea where, or if RealBand has an error log.

Not Jim, but .. You probably don't need to re-download, isn't it somewhere on your computer already, like Downloads folder or the BiaB HDD? If not, yes you'll need to download the whole thing again.
**Edit, never mind, Jim answered while I was typing

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!
Thanks again JIm (and rharv). I clicked on my "hiq_instruments_fl_sforzando.exe" file and it went through the prompts but I still get the error message. The supertrack selects VST2i by default but I can select from VST3i but it doesn't seem to matter which I choose. I also get a second track underneath called "IChatsBBdrums" which features silent semiquavers on one note. As I mentioned before the supertrack is generated but I don't know why I get error messages. Mike
I can't duplicate the error. Probably best to email the error report to PG Music Support (the report that has the full stack trace of the error, not just screenshots that show only the address of the error itself.) Thanks.
It could be. A scan of the RealBand folder and sub folders displays a number of text and log files. But there doesn't seem to be a specific file devoted to error messages like there are with Band-in-a-Box or the bridge utility applications.
My suspicion is a good source for error information will likely be in the bbw2_64exeFlashMessageLog.txt file. Both the RealBand and DAW bridge utility programs have log files at x:\bb\Data.
But, we really don't know. That's why I'm hoping Jeff will respond to my question.
