Since all vocal software requires one note per syllable (as far as I have seen), it would be nice if the melodist would take into consideration the syllables in lyrics if lyrics are attached. Perhaps some software does this, but the closest I have seen is lyriclab which will generate chords if desired, but not the actual melody of the lyrics.
