Hi
I installed BIAB 2025 on a Flash Drive to save space on my Surface Pro Tablet. I want to delete the previous BIAB completely from my C: Drive. I can't delete it using the Uninstall feature in Controll Panel. The Controll Panel indicated it was uninstalled but all the files remain, and the program still opens.
I would like information on how to completely remove the program from the C: Drive.

Disclaimer: I have not used a Surface tablet, so I'm going to assume it operates just like a regular desktop computer running Windows. If that's not the case, then wait for an answer from someone who has a Surface.
You are correct, there is no Uninstall routine for BIAB because it is installed more simply than many programs that become interwoven in the various folders. All you need to do is delete the folder where BIAB is installed. That's probably C:/BB.
There will be a few small files that remain on the C: drive, including seven Font files. If you installed any VST-type files for BIAB, they should have their own uninstaller available in the Windows Control Panel.

I'm interested in how your BIAB performs, running from a flash drive. While it's been technically possible for a few years, the performance from our user tests back then was not satisfactory. If you would be willing to list the type of flash drive you use, and its speed, and what level of BIAB you have (Pro, Ultrapak etc.) the information may help others.

Thank you for the information on how to delete BIAB from my C: drive. It worked just fine.
I have the BIAB Mega Pak and the XPro Styles Pak 8.
The Flash Drive is the PNY USB 3.2 512GB Gen 2 Interface. The speeds are up to 600MB Read and 500MB Write according to the info on the packaging. There are other faster options from the company.
I've only had limited time using the Program. I haven't noticed very much reduction in operation speed of the Program. One thing when downloading is to run the Installer as the Administrator. If not all the Pro or Mega Real Tracks may not download.

Thanks for following up. That's very interesting news about running BIAB acceptably on a flash drive. It is quite remarkable how much capacity they can have now.
