I'm migrating to a new computer, still trying to get it all to work like in my old system....is there a function in either BIAB or RB to find all the available vst's...they seem to load in all kinds of different places when you install them...thx.

Just point them to the folders and it should find them.
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2025, Realband, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 9 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app.

There is no "default" location for VST2 plugins - it's entirely up to whoever made the plugin as to where they want to install it by default. Generally I recommend installing all your plugins to the same folder.
This problem is at least somewhat mitigated by using VST3, as the standard location for those is in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.

I made a VST folder in my Download folder to make it easier to find for myself. The older I get the more I forget with CRS. Can't Remember Stuff.

When you install BIAB and the BIAB plugin, one of the last installation screens lets you install the BIAB plugin to a number of various default plugin locations. This list presented to you is a good place to start for looking for installed plugins. You can move VST plugins to a folder of your choice, if you wish, and then scan from that location. Just be careful to separate out 32-bit vs 64-bit plugins.
