OP babymusic Veteran B Joined: Sep 2021 Posts: 2,308	I wrote a chord progression of a song using ezkey2 in STUDIO ONE, and then exported the MIDI. The name is song.midi I used Biab main program to open song.midi But I found that some chords were missing. Is this normal, or am I doing it wrong? File>>>Open >>>Choose song.midi WIN10 20H2, AMD R4800H ,16G , 2T ,FOCUSRITE 2i4 MKII，Studio One,FL STUDIO

Noel96 Veteran Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 19,831 Australia	Hi babymusic, When I have a look at the notation for the midi file, the C chords are present as notation but BIAB has not interpreted that chord and entered it on the chordsheet. This suggests that something is not working properly in BIAB. I'll pass this information on to the development team. MarioD Veteran Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 23,203 Hamlin NY	I got the same results as Noel. BiaB is reading the entire measure as Am7 because of the common notes between the two chords, i.e. C-E-G. There is a workaround IF you need the correct chords before BiaB fixes the problem. Select the beat 3 of the second measure and click ctrl F2, then type C. BiaB will add the C chord. Do this for all missing C chords OR copy and paste the corrected measure where needed. Good luck Whenever I get something stuck in the back of my throat, I dislodge it by drinking a beer. However, it appears that it's automatically using the relative minor, even ignoring the C in the bass.
