Could you post the midi file (song.midi) so that we can have a look at it to see what might have happened? You will need to use a host site such as Dropbox and you could provide a link for people to download the file.

When I have a look at the notation for the midi file, the C chords are present as notation but BIAB has not interpreted that chord and entered it on the chordsheet. This suggests that something is not working properly in BIAB. I'll pass this information on to the development team. I'll also refer them to this thread so that they can download your MIDI file.
I got the same results as Noel. BiaB is reading the entire measure as Am7 because of the common notes between the two chords, i.e. C-E-G.
There is a workaround IF you need the correct chords before BiaB fixes the problem. Select the beat 3 of the second measure and click ctrl F2, then type C. BiaB will add the C chord. Do this for all missing C chords OR copy and paste the corrected measure where needed.
Good luck
When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"

I found this interesting also. It's as though BIAB didn't need to name a chord if it was in the key signature of the song. However, it appears that it's automatically using the relative minor, even ignoring the C in the bass.

BabyMusic, Please tell the steps you made to get the midi file into Band-in-a-Box.
Did you navigate to (1) File > Open Special > Open MIDI File or (2) File > Import > Import Melody from MIDI File or (3) File > Import > Import to Soloist Part from MIDI File or (4) some other method I didn't think of?
