Given a key signature with sharps or flats, I would like my notation to show the accidentals in the staves. I believe I did his in the past, but it's been a while since I used BIAB. Thanks.
I used BIAB quite a bit in 2008 and after a 16 year break(!) I'm back with version Mac 2024.

I'm not sure if I follow, so please clarify if possible. There is a difference between the key signature and accidentals. Assuming you have a song in Eb, do you want to show every Eb, Bb and Ab note in the music score as an accidental? Or do you want to show the key signature on every line of the stave, like this: ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=30542&filename=2025-03-30_4-50-52.jpg)

Thanks for the reply. Let me clarify. I'm only an ok sight reader and I have a hard time remembering which notes are sharp or flat depending on the key. For instance, it your music is in the key of D all the Fs and Cs are sharp but they are not written as sharps in the notation, you are suppose to just know that. I prefer to have those accidental notes actually written in the staff lines with sharp symbols. Make sense?
Years ago when I was last using BIAB, I printed out some music where I could do this and I'm trying to figure out how I did that. It could be that this is a print option and not a screen option, not sure. And maybe that option got dropped with recent versions. I did try turning off the Key Signature Every Line option but this seems to be only for space saving and it doesn't change the notation of the accidentals.
I used BIAB quite a bit in 2008 and after a 16 year break(!) I'm back with version Mac 2024.

After some exploring, I resolved my own question. When clicking on the Key of the Song icon, I get two columns listing all keys. In the right column it says (No Transpose) and if I change this to C (or Cm if the original is in a minor key) It will have the desired effect of writing out the music in the key of C, which has no accidentals, but the pitch and note or chord values remain the same.

Great. That was going to be my next suggestion once I determined that you wanted an accidental adjacent to every relevant note.
