I found the asio4all file saved in a misc. folder from years ago. I installed it and I don't get that error message popup every time I stop the recording. However when I select it to use I no longer get that annoying error popup but I also have no sound in PT . Sound still works outside of Power Tracks. I attached the yellow popup message I get with asio also.
It has an issue with either your Audio device or your MIDI device settings (maybe a mismatch?) Funny, once again we are back to tinkering with the same Options-Preferences area, just better clues to work with now
Tinker around with those settings. Change one, test, if no success then change it back and test something else rinse & repeat We can guess one at a time or you can test a bunch using the clues
If I was testing, looks like MIDI is going to WT Synth instead of ASIO4All .. just a guess

Thanks, I'll keep working on things. I did buy the PT 2025 upgrade and it was really annoying to view things and I don't see anything that will improve my work. I was hoping that the new version would have solved this problem but it seem to be more difficult to use. The old 2017 has been working great 4 me for 7 years except for the annoying new pop up. Thx again for your help.
