I ordered 2011, Allysa sent me the e-download, but I can't get "Mason solo to come up for solos." Maybe the e-download doesn't give that option. He is listed in the real tracks list at the bottom but not in the list of guitar soloists. Am I missing something?

I believe I may of found a little bug in the select style by filter. Can anyone confirm this?
In RB open the select style dialog box and under catagory select all styles.
Click on the filter button and select Brent Mason from the Real Track Artist and click ok.
Actually it don't matter what artist as none of them show up.
This does work correct in BIAB but not RB.

Did you rebuild the style list after installing new realtracks?
Click the little 'rebuild' button.

I have found that the filter option cannot find anything by any search criteria in the style box. I tried with rebuild the styles also this does the same on my laptop and desktop computers. I can manualy select any style as they are really there but not with the filter option. As mentioned this works fine in BIAB.

The RB2011 filter feature does not work here (Vista) -> style list will be empty even if a harmless filter such as 'Jazz' is selected.

Brian Send a note to support, although I think they are aware of it. I believe Martin mantioned this previously.  I'm hoping for a patch pretty soon.

Thanks and I have submitted it to tech support. I had played with this new feature in BIAB last night and really liked the new filter. So when Critter said he could not find Brent Mason in Real Band I was checking it out myself and discovered the filter did not work in RB.

I never did that before I bet I missed,stuff in the past. I did the rebuild button still nothing new. I think the problem might be that I am using the e-downloads while I wait for the hard drive. It boots up with the start screen Real band 2011, Biab does too. I must have put the the real tracks in wrong part of folders or something. When I get the new hard drive I am going to delete the 2010 version and just use the 2011 seeing as I never did any edits, and my songs are all saved on another hard drive and dvd discs. I assume I will be able to load them in okay, right?

Various problems with the StlePicker were identified during the BETA testing. I understand that the BIAB & RB displays were going to be made to appear similar. At this moment some RT styles' descriptions still refer to Midi instruments generate RealTracks.

That's interesting. The filter in my BETA version in RB RTs picker works fine. Just as it should.The style filter is still not right though.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
