I watched this yesterday. It's very nicely done, with a direct comparison of how RealTracks sound when slowed down in version 2010.5 versus 2011 that uses the new elastique algorithm.

Is there any way to download this video? I ordered my HD version of 2011 earlier in the week and it has not arrived yet so I 'm not sure if it will be on the disk. It's nice to collect the tutorials for refreshing the brain cells now and again!

Newer versions of RealPlayer include a downloader feature which, when you cursor over web videos, will give you a little popup window that asks "Download this video?" Click it, wait, enjoy.

The video was excellent.
Thanks for posting.
It answered several questions I had about how to use some new features in 2011.

Thanks, Peter. I'll check out the links and the new features of BIAB.

BTW, the reason I'm looking at BIAB again is because I am taking bass guitar lessons on the internet from Paul on How-To-Play-Bass.com and he is currently sending out a mini 3 video instructional on how to use BIAB for bass practice. I don't know if you have an affiliate program, but he is talking up your great program for practice. It would seem to me that you guys might want to talk about promo deals/packages offered for his students who are interested in purchasing BIAB. You both might find some kind of arrangement beneficial, and increase your sales and/or his students. Students are always looking for ways to save a few bucks. Just a thought.

Hi L5,

Have a look at FAQ #79 at the below web page.

http://www.pgmusic.com/techfaq23.htm#79

It might be an older video that you are looking at and one that needs the mentioned codec.

All the best,
Noel

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
