I frankly was not expecting a lot with this upgrade. I ordered 2011 to get a few more usable tracks especially the Gypsy styles being both a guitar and violin player.
After the arrival of the HD I finally got everything working. The big news is that everything sounds much better even with the old tracks. The old piano and jazz/nylon guitar patches had a notable warbling sound before to the point that I rarely used them. They now sound good and stretch much better in terms of tempo. In the first hour or so I finished 2-3 tunes I could never finish before. The bottom line is the style/instrument I wanted sounded good at my desired tempos.
Even without the new tracks 2011 sounds better, seems a little faster and so far hasn't crashed. The reduction in required drive space is another big plus.
Appreciate the improvement in filtering styles etc but would still like to see more robust cabilies here and for searching individual instruments. The new tracks, features and sound improvement make this a worthwile purchase.

I had not experienced that yet as I just an installing the new tracks now, i did have a couple freeze ups so far that i never had with 2010.5, but that might just be pushing the system a bit to hard.
Lenovo Win 10 16 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2022, Realband, Harrison Mixbus 32c version 9.1324, Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app, Komplete 49 key controller.

I received BiaB 2011 yesterday. Installed it last night and played a few demos. All I can say is PGMusic outdid themselves again. I didn't think you could improve much on the sound of the RealTracks but evidently I was wrong. Both old and new RealTracks sound noticibly better.
I was also extremely happy to see the reggae RTs. As a bass player I love the groove of good reggae. I think even Bob Marley (RIP) would have agreed these tracks are great. I felt a kinship with 'Family Man' Barrett while jammin' last night.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
