Man you guys are blue, blue, and blue!
Great stuff all around.
I'm not a blues expert but there is something uniquely different in a good way about your chord progression on this one.
Keep the creativity going !
There are lots of things you can do to a standard I-IV-V chord progression to make it a little more interesting but still blues. Not that there is anything wrong with sticking to the basic three chords mind you  Thanks for the listen! Love the sound: vocals, guitar and mix. Solid blues, good message. The pedantic in me can't help but mention that the "eye of the storm" is the place in the storm where the winds are relatively calm - not howling. Good stuff!  Yes, I suppose that's true. Very strong and timely released tune. Good message and Ace vocals by Christiane. I like how vocals are mixed in too. Marty A+ bass, fits like a glove. Amazing guitar solo! Good package all around. Neat video, especially the magnifying glass part. Two spins, easy listen. Enjoyed it and thank you for sharing.

Lyrically this has a very powerful grip, really holding on in the eye of the storm. Musically, has "I Put A Spell On You" vibe and Christiane sounds quite like Annie Lennox. I enjoyed the bluesy guitar work and Marty's bass is at home here. Very good clear mix. Guaranteed high-quality collaboration.

Hey, Dave. I played this song for a bunch of friends at a jam the other night. The reactions were worth mentioning.
"Hoy $%&*! That is outstanding."
"Man, what a special voice."
"Yeah, she is incredible. I love the feeling she puts into it."
"Damn, he can play. Think you can get him to come to one of our jams?"
I proudly said, "And I got to play bass."
Response: "Hmmm. Didn't hear it. Play it again"
I did. He still didn't notice it. But that's what a good sideman does, right?
I love this song from idea to the final sustain.

You guys are simply great together;seems like a while since we heard Christiane`s amazing voice here, and the song is a good vehicle for the feeling she brings; relaxed but intense at he same time.

Dave...that is such a pro sound! Blues with an Attitude...every aspect was superb...Chris's vocals are flawless...Marty is always top-notch and note perfect...your riffs and parts are always so tasteful and song-perfect and your tone is so cool and the band is tight! We couldn't ask for more but we do... Really appreciate that, Dan! Thanks to anyone who mentioned the bass. Chris's voice is so special. What a great day when her and Dave got together for the first time, and there have been so many many great days since. I'm thrilled they picked me up along the way. This is the best ride I ever took. Meeting first Chris and then you are two of the best things that ever happened to me, for the music of course, but also the friendship Hi Chris, Dave and Marty

Man do you guys Gel together well. Excellent sound. I knew this was a Dave and Marty tune right from the very first notes - you guys have a special sound together. Then I got the "full attitude" when Chris started singing - simply fantastic. Great write and excellent mix. You guys pushed this one right over the top!
