Hello Digihound,

They are streaming files. If you can't play any streaming content, try going to Options - Tools - Network in Windows Media Player, then select HTTP Browser in the Streaming Proxy Settings area, and click Configure. Select Use Proxy Settings of Web Browser.

If that's already selected, perhaps see if it works with a different web browser. If not, it may be your security software (anti-virus/firewall). You could disable the software to test if that's the problem, and if it is you could then look for a specific setting in the software.
