As a jazz guitar professor I am very pleased with the new Real Tracks feature. Especially the Real Soloists. Now my students can have Playalongs with Soloist in there and trade 4s also - what a great practice. And that`s the huge difference to the Aebersold Play Alongs (this and the timeing stays correct ).

Now my wishes:
The Jazz Piano Solos aren`t as good as I expected. While the jazz bass solos are really great, the piano solos are strange. They are still played mostly with only the right hand. Sometimes you hear the left hand comping for one or two notes, but boys, this is not how a good jazz pianist plays his solo. The left hand usually comps throughout, that`s why I tell my guitar students to shut up while the pianist plays his solo (unfortunately some pianists don`t realise when a guitarist plays a chord solo )

I wish there was a real Drum Solo feature, so the Drummers solos for the given amount of bars (mostly a whole chorus). Of course one can manage this via Real Band now by mergin trade 4´s together or the like. But a real longer solo is also gaining dynamics etc.
I don`t know if this is possible, but it would help.

The Bass Soloist is great.

I wish all the soloists (exept the bass maybe) would play A LOT more DOUBLE TIME Phrases. The brass guys are really a little boring now, they don`t play double time very very seldomly.
Though they play ok and the sound is great compared to the midi soloists, but more action pleaze

Thank you PG for this great product!
