I purchased/received Mac Band in a Box pre-installed on a USB hard drive.

The USB hard drive supplied by PG is sloooooowwwwwwww and a real pain in the studio to work with. I ended up transferring the data to a spare FireWire hard drive.

I think my iMac is fast : 3.06 GH and 4 GB RAM.

I recall purchasing a USB hard drive and took it back because it was too slow for my purposes.

I wish PG would offer the customer a choice. I would be glad to pay for a FireWire hard drive because I do understand that they are more money. However the benefits out way the costs.
