Brian...was thinking of hooking it in through the mic input on the computer tower...its the only option i have Right now..

there is a BIAB demo on youtube where a guitar player hooked his guitar in through the mic input this way....then opened up amplitube 3 and got some amazing results.

but i need to get this ASIO driver thing figured out...or i won't be able to do it

Ok so now I know you don't have an external hardware sound device & you have a HP desktop tower running windows 7. Cajun I am not sure if you have an internal soundcard that has ASIO drivers? Anyway to be able to monitor the input signal and record direct with the amplitude effect you will need a device that has ASIO. You can record your guitar thru the mic or line input and then add the amplitude effect to it after you record it on a track without having ASIO though if you want to go that route. Let us know any other info you might have about the internal sound card you have.
