there was a vst notepad called vstnotesXL which became free just before the maker stopped his website, it is a very small software where you can put in text & images (jpg, etc..). As I said before his site went down the maker said that it was free & could be distributed anywhere. There are a few sites offereing downloads of this as a .exe app, This has never been a .exe app & is just a .dll which you put in your vst folder & it will be recognized. So I would advise against downloading this from one of these sites. I just uploaded it for anyone who is interested
