After not listening to the radio for 10 years (or any music, really) I tuned in again recently to listen to how songs were being produced these days for some ideas. I was surprised to find that 80% of Country these days sounds like late-70's Rock - if you take away the twang in the voice and the occassional pedal steel, you wouldn't know the difference. I always wanted this song to "rock" a bit, but don't have the chops myself to pull it off (I'm an acoustic-guitar-kind-of-guy).
