This is a "Nashville Jazz Cats" original composition about a woman in the Tennessee State Women's Prison. The inmates nicknamed her "Cornbread". This is the story she told on TV as to how she acquired this nickname.

This was recorded using biab 10. The style is not so relevant as real tracks do not adhere to the styles so much.
Drums "Jazz' was used. The Jazz Upright Bass, and Jazz Piano were also used as was a blues rhythm guitar.

The blues solo guitar was recorded to Cool Edit Pro, edited and the parts needed re-recorded on the fly back into the multi track recorder. The only effect that was added is re-verb.

The Brass section is my Yamaha WX5 & Vl70m.

The Vocalist are Ken Sanders & Cheri McCormick. My Recording partners "The Nashville Jazz Cats" A Lawson Tube mic set in omni mode was used to capture the vocals which were recorded simultaneously ( not multi-tracked )
