The first three are solidly in the smooth jazz camp, at least as their recordings go. Gerald Albright can play straight ahead but most often does smooth jazz. Lee Ritenour, though, is more of a straight jazz player who is superbly able to play in any genre including classical. He's very talented and versatile.
