Waves belongs to the top tier of plugin providers. Sound quality is assuredly top shelf as well. The question is mainly if you have time to learn how to program the synth and if it fits the style of music you want to record. This is a wavetable synthesizer not unlike the Ensoniq VFX and SQ1 synths from the late 80s and early 90's but with much more signal routing and modulation options.

It looks like it might take some dedication to learn how to program it with aplomb
