OP lambada Expert L Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,574 Hong Kong	Thanks Noel. Your kind comments caught me by surprise. I was listening in to various songs and suddenly noticed Coffee bar Cowboy was live again. I've got a couple of songs underway, but I need to spend time recording the vocals properly and using my new toys - the iZotope elements bundle. The learning curve for this and realband/reaper is not insignificant! Also, I'm also finally studying the Gary Ewer collection of books on songwriting as I really want to progress. I'm having to move away from poetic form to songwriting form and also develop a proper understanding of song structural form, both macro, harmonic and melodic. Add to that streetjelly and a bit of live playing and progress is slow.... Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
