Hi All. Thought some of you might find this interesting...

Back in 1985 I had a recording studio on the Isle of Skye and from
time to time we had an open day for people to look around. On one of
these days, I found myself talking to a really nice couple who said that
their son was about to start a recording magazine. The son turned out to
be Ian Gilby and the magazine was Sound On Sound. Well, I was already
contributing to Studio Sound magazine and the upshot was that I started
writing a few articles for Sound On Sound as well.

Fast forward thirty years to this time last year and it ocurred to me that
I hadn't seen a decent review of BiaB in the magazine for ages, so I sent an email
to Paul White, who is Editor in Chief. Following an exchange of emails,
I sent him a demo which I put together in Realband using only six realtracks
and which took about ten minutes to prepare from start to finish. He confessed
to being impressed and said he would pass on the details to the features editor.

A year later and we've had a double-issue review and BiaB is nominated in
the Sound On Sound Awards. So here is the track which I like to think
started the ball rolling.

Realband Demo

Cheers, ROG.
