I've been working on this for a week or so.

Here's the band:

Nashville even 8 drums
Bass 1522
Mando 1948 Andy
Steel 2541
Steel solo 1669 Paul
Fiddle 618
Synth strings 1943

Style is Songwriter Style ... which kinda pleasantly surprised me.

I'm on all guitars played through the MBS22 with the Tele. 2 crunchy panned left and right. one with fills and solo using the same settings as the crunchy stuff.

3 vox tracks.

Missing You

Lyrics....

Well some things change but remain the same baby it's a shame
What can you say when there's no one left to blame
Yesterday has come and gone, baby now I know
All we have is embers from long ago.

Just hold me one more time, pretend that you're still mine
You know we'll both be fine when the morning comes
But if you walk away don't turn your back to me and say
Baby I'll be missing you

On the road to forever somebody lost their way
They say you should count your blessings each and every day
Is it lost romance or give it one last chance before you go
Just give it one more day to let your feelings show

Just hold me one more time, pretend that you're still mine
You know we'll both be fine when the morning comes
But if you walk away don't turn your back to me and say
Baby I'll be missing you

I don't have time to go into the production right now, but I'll comment on what I did a bit later because there's some things I did in this one that I generally have steered away from in the past. And they seem to work well..... better than I expected.

Add nothing that adds nothing to the music.
You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both.

The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.
