Apparently the only difference between the HD6XX and the HD650 is the colour and the length of the cable, other than that they are identical. I read that here: https://headfonics.com/2017/02/the-hd6xx-from-massdrop/I have the HD598 model here and I love them. I've never tried the HD650s, are they significantly better than the HD598s? Man, $200 is a great price! I'd say all three (HD598, HD600, HD650) are all equally great. But I'd take the HD600 or HD650 over the HD598. But I think the HD598 has 90%+ the SQ. Then again, I'm sure that margin would increase if you brought the HD6** out of it's shell with proper amplification. But generally speaking, they are all good and I'd be happy with any of them

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
