Have they been getting shorter? I feel like maybe I haven't been noticing as much because I don't listen to a lot of pop music. I do find that the old trend of making the whole album a story with a plot has been coming back in to fashion. With those I have noticed shorter songs, but it is intended to be listened to in order and all at once. So maybe that's the trade off for some?
