I've used them a lot, including many times before I knew that's what I was doing. Primarily, I move from one to another to differentiate sections (A, B, C) so that a verse, say, may be in C, but the chorus in Am. But just to borrow a chord from the relative major/minor key works musically even without changing the tonal center. It depends on how long you hang there. Thats strategic! I would imagine that makes for fairly smooth transitions between sections.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
