I do not remember having any problems with BiaB 2007.
Here are a couple of things to try: 1-in the piano roll view (PRV) click on track that is not sounding. You do this by clicking on the B, G, D, P, etc little squares. B = bass track, G = Guitar, etc. Look at the velocity. If they are all at zero raise them to a 64 or higher. 2- if the velocity lines are not at zero then add a volume. That would be CC7 at around 100.
There is a mixer but I forget exactly where it is in 2007.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
