Greetings Forum Friends, Some of you may have heard that about 1/3 of the US Federal government closed for about 35 days from just before the holidays due to a lack of funding. Over 800,000 dedicated civil servants were either furloughed or made to work without pay. A lot of folks had a really rough time and a lot of important work was put on hold. It was NOT a vacation, it was an insult to a large group of patriotic Americans who have dedicated their lives to serve this great nation. Our latest song was written during the lock-out. It was a hard time, so we sing "The Furlough Blues" to commiserate and express the frustration and aggravation we felt. We're back to work now and funded for the rest of the year but we hope we'll never have to live the Furlough Blues again!! Here's the Soundclick link. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
