This sort of song generally doesn't work for me. I'm a bit suspicious of songs that try to tell me how to feel. My issue, not a real criticism of the song.

So imagine my pleasant surprise to find how much I really enjoyed the chorus. Nice melody, excellent harmony, catchy. Good job there! laugh

I thought the mix was good, and didn't really have trouble understanding it. Still, I think it could have done with just the audio clips and the beginning and end. That way, it wouldn't compete with the vocal. For me, saying "Tranquility base" automatically summons up that famous clip, so it seemed redundant to me.

Anyway, nicely done. It may not be my cup of tea, but I know good work when I hear it!
