In 1967-8 at university when a dental student I played in a band with a guy that lost his left arm below the elbow in a car accident. His Dad made amateur prosthetics to enable him to play rhythm guitar left handed. He, Charlie, also dyed his hair yellow and purple!! And had a stomach pump named after him in my training hospital's casualty department, as he drank so much. Alcohol abuse sadly soon took him at an early age. He was reading Chemistry and used to drink the untainted 100% alcohol in the laboratories and fell out a 2nd storey window. So, so sad.

However nice to see how a disability, with technology today, can change a life for the better.
