Even windows 7 Microsoft is throwing out of the window. It seems you can update to Windows 10 for free.
If you do, go for pro 64bit or LTSB (latter doesn't work with NVDIA RTX GPUs BTW).
You will need some tuning to do to get rid of the bloatware that comes along with it however.

Yep - thats Windows XP.
Although I run BB on Win7 (itself about to be made obsolete for no good reason), I still have my old XP drive and actually prefer to run BB on it as it seamlessly works with my VERY OLD DAW that does everything I want and will not work on Win7.
XP, apart from when downloading any BB related files is not Net connected.
Are you saying that I can update my Win7 to 10 for free? I thought they'd stopped that Freebie.
FWIW - I think Support agree that there IS a problem with 2020 in getting it to work on XP. It may be that I'll HAVE no option but to go Win10 in 2020.
