No I absolutely never-ever quantize anything unless it's a style of music like techno or EDM that needs to be quantized. IMO Music needs to breathe, and when it is too rigid, it takes the life right out of it. The solution is to practice the part until you get it right, starting with the drums. Lock with the groove the drummer and bass player sets up. It'll keep your music from sounding stiff and mechanical. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
