The Tracks Bar presently has buttons for RealTracks, RealDrums, UserTracks, Loops, MIDI Tracks, Freeze, Simple, Harmony, Melodist and Soloist.
My suggestion is to add an additional button named "Performance Track". Selecting the Performance Track button opens a "Manage Performance Track" dialog window.
The Manage Performance Track dialog window allows a user to 1) select a track to save as a Performance Track, 2) select a track to erase a Performance Track, 3) Move Audio To Performance Track ... dialog, 4) Move Performance Track to Audio ... dialog, 5) select an Artist Performance Track from the "bb" folder and load it into the Melody track or 6) select an Artist Performance Track from the "Artist Performances" folder and load it into the Melody track.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
