I maybe haven't been listening as long as some, but to my ears she is really finding her zone behind the mic. Love that Marty groove...intentional and song-based. Really NICE! The solo is everything I've come to expect from Dave, emotional and on purpose. The arrangement is solid. Love the little breaks and the production in the bridge and the guitar/bass unison section.

The only thing I might have wished for in the mix was more presence in the funky rhythm guitar...especially in the beginning. "It" felt a bit like the most under-appreciated member of this hard-working BA band.

I agree about that guitar. That particular part was a last minute thing, I recorded it after I had already sent the bed off to Chris so she could do her final vocal. After a couple of days away from the mix I can hear now that it should be a little more upfront. And I’ll do that at some point, but already started working on the next song.
