He was the drummer in a band I was in for about 15 years. He was a dear friend and I miss him so much. This took me back to those days. His name was Robert Loreau ... we always called him "Frenchy". He was like a brother to me. Thank you for the sweet, yet poignant, memory. It put a smile on my face and a tear in my eye.

I lived and worked in that Houma/Thibodaux/Morgan City area for almost 20 years. Which is why several of my songs are about the people and the places of the Bayou State.
