Reading this thread encouraged me to dig a bit into Melodyne as I wanted to make some changes here and there to a bass track. I feel like I did a fair comparison between Melodyne essentials (latest version) and Logic Pro X’s built in Flex Pitch. My conclusion is that if you are a Logic user Flex Pitch is much easier, i.e., intuitive, to use particularly if you also wish to fix timing issues, etc. The accuracy of both editors was identical re defining notes’ pitch.

And my usual Apple pitch smile Logic costs $199 for life with free upgrades for life. The upgrades include frequently adding to a huge fx, sounds, amp sims, loops, pedal sims, etc., library. Both of my My Mac’s OS has been frequently updated seamlessly overnight for nine years since I left the Window’s world nine years ago. Apple hardly needs my endorsement but for us it has been a very different rich experience with zero hassles.

FWIW, etc., etc., etc.
