As an Australian it's hard to comprehend the cultural divide between the North n South in a balanced way as, in the 60s, our minds were filled with the pastiche romanticism of Gone With The Wind/Song of the South/Birth of a Nation & all those Shirley Temple flicks...heavy propaganda that predisposed Aussie's of a certain age.
This song shows a willingness of the protagonist to move north to a future that wasn't on offer at home.
Musically this is really tidy and very well sung.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
