There is a way to alleviate it, that is, changing the buffer to 1024 can alleviate it Setting the buffer to the highest amount is recommended, as it reduces resource usage on the computer. This is true in any audio software, not just BIAB. Small buffer settings are only necessary for low latency when recording. When playing back/mixing/etc it's best to set the buffer to the maximum to avoid any pops and clicks - again from any software, not just BIAB.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
