To answer your question Band-in-a-Box natively has two time signatures, 4/4 and 3/4. Any other time signature is derived from one of those native time signatures. Filter on time signature in the Style Picker for alternatives like 6/8.

Also, everything I stated above is true for MIDI styles. Hybrid or RealTrack styles have some RealTracks where the musician plays in alternative time signatures.
