Songs based on a simple rhythm and few chords can be interesting in unexpected ways. I think Springsteen's Streets of Philadelphia and Missing are perfect examples of that.

This brings me back to many years ago (pre-computer era) when I saved and partially borrowed a couple of hundred "Gulden" (nobody here in the Netherlands had heard of Euros just yet) to get me an Alesis Drum Computer.

The rhythms were inspirational and I came up with a couple of concepts that, in retrospect were more interesting than some songs that involved more complicated chords/arrangements.

Back to your song Robert ;-)

You've achieved something very interesting here. Well done!
There's probably more where this came from? Feel free.
